Families

Accessibility

Victoria Aikido Centre is a not-for-profit dojo serving the Victoria community. We depend on your membership and fees to keep the dojo running; however, if you cannot pay due to personal circumstances, send an email to discuss possible alternative payment options: treasurer[at]VictoriaAikidoCentre.com.

Daily Rate (each day of practice) $10
Monthly Rate (< 12 days of practice) $25

Payment details

The first month’s payment for all Adults and Juniors includes the following costs:

  • Initiation fee: $20*
  • Canadian Aikido Federation fee: $50 (Adults) and $30 (Juniors)

Subsequent monthly payments for all Adults and Juniors include a membership fee of $20 that is paid to maintain your continuous membership, even if you are not practicing.  

An annual fee is paid to the BC Aikido Federation each September: $15 (Adults) and $5 (Juniors aged 10-17).

*Note that if you request that your membership be suspended, the Initiation fee must be paid when you rejoin.

Annual payments

We offer a 5% discount if you would like to pay your fees annually; payments must be made at the start of our fiscal year in September.

Payment methods

Regular members will be invoiced. Drop-in visitors can either pay directly at the dojo or request an invoice.

  • Cheque or cash: use the payment box at the dojo
  • Electronically: request an invoice by completing a pre-filled slip and dropping it into the payment box or via email to the Treasurer:
    • e-Transfer (payments[at]VictoriaAikidoCentre.com),
    • Stripe, or
    • PayPal

When the girls started training Aikido at the Victoria Aikido Centre we noticed with each of them that they had an improvement in their grades and theirfocused attention span.
